CTE alum wins $10k on “Chopped”

Matt Migliore, a 2008 graduate of Greece Athena High School and former Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) student, went on to Paul Smith’s College and graduated with an associate degree in culinary arts. Since then, he has helped to open Llama Inn in Brooklyn, created the YouTube channel “The Real GoPro Chef,” participated in the Food Network’s “Chopped,” and was featured on the Cooking Channel’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.”

Greece Central is a collaborative community that strives for equity and excellence.

As the largest suburban school district in Monroe County and the 10th-largest district in New York State, the Greece Central School District serves most of the Town of Greece. Greece Central is comprised of 17 schools and has a pre-kindergarten through grade 12 enrollment of approximately 10,500 students.
